A new flagship building next to Paddington Station in London

HPS were contracted to install and commission 2x 11kV/415v package substations with ACB protected bulk supplies and 1x LV interconnected substation – all fully adopted by UKPN. These temporary substations were installed to allow the integral primary substation to be decommissioned and demolished.

As the LV was fully interconnected in the area we needed to also install additional HV circuit breaker actuators, controlled by the RTU, and fully commission the PLTU option on the RTU.
The project was given to us on an extremely short deadline, but with communication and teamwork we achieved the audit and connection date.
