Our services allow for a quick turnaround compared to multiphase housing sites, enabling the sale of multiple assets to an adopting IDNO. We have a strong track record of installing domestic and commercial supplies in some of London’s newest landmark buildings, such as South Quay Plaza 1 (SQP) at Canary Wharf and Keybridge House in Vauxhall. These buildings were tallest in their class when designed, with SQP rising an impressive 68 floors in addition to 3 basement levels. Our expertise shines through in facing challenging internal and vertical cable pulls, where other ICPs may be less inclined to approach. We work closely with the design, site, and electrical teams to overcome obstacles and ensure a professional installation. In addition, we offer design, specification, and installation of containment systems for substations and switch rooms, ensuring proper cable support and security within the building. Our comprehensive testing scheme, widely adopted by other ICPs, allows us to efficiently track installations and issue test certificates and service cards. High-rise buildings often require phased energisation as the build continues, allowing for the finalization of other trades. At Haddon Power Services, we prioritize safety above all else and support other trades on-site with our strict Safe Systems of Work Policy, ensuring a smooth commissioning process. We take pride in our commitment to meeting meter installation dates, never having missed a single one. Lastly, in high-rise buildings, integral substations located at lower basement levels must have a safe internal route for HV cables. As a Firemac accredited installer, we are proud to provide a 1-hour circuit integrity and 2-hour fire resistance, contributing to the overall integrity of these buildings.
